Eoghan Deasy

Eoghan Deasy has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (1st Class Hons) from University College Dublin and is a member Engineers Ireland.

Before joining EirEng Consulting Engineers, Eoghan was a Civil Engineer and Project Manager with BG&E Consulting Engineers, Perth. Prior to that Eoghan was a design engineer with TOBIN Consulting Engineers in Galway.

Eoghan has specialised in the roads, drainage, and civil engineering elements on a large range of projects in his career to date. His experience across a wide range of construction projects including educational, commercial, residential, retail, logistics and various civil infrastructural projects. He has worked extensively with numerous public authorities and private developers.

Eoghan is accustomed to dealing with Clients, Contractors and Project Team Members. He has also developed good working relationships with the Local Authorities and produces economical, buildable schemes that are in full compliance with the Local Authority requirements. These relationships have proved in the past to be key to unlocking a site with the local authorities. He has gained international experience having spent over a year and a half working for a consultancy in Perth. He has worked on several projects where he has incorporated fully compliant Sustainable urban Drainage Systems.

Eoghan spent 8 months on site as a Resident Engineer on a large urban roads scheme. This invaluable experience has given Eoghan a perspective of what is involved in practical buildable solutions while meeting the requirements of Local Authorities. He has worked on multiple projects where he has incorporated fully compliant Sustainable urban Drainage Systems. He has also has international experience having spent over a year and a half working for a consultancy in Perth.

Since joining EirEng Eoghan’s skillsets and client management skills have resulted in him being made a Director and leading EirEng’s Civils Team. His hands on management skills prioritise maintaining and building existing relationships and developing new. A forward thinker, Eoghan is at the forefront of building and driving the EirEng team growth in Ireland and the UK whilst still mentoring junior staff and ensuring the one team ethos of EirEng remains strong.
