Our projects cover a wide range of size and complexity in terms of multi-temperature distribution space, specialist storage facilities (for chemicals, lubricants, and similar hazardous materials) and automated storage facilities.
In frozen and chilled facilities where vapour barrier integrity is critical, we use 3D modelling to determine frame deflection analysis in line with the needs of Single Envelope Technology constraints but in the most cost-effective method. We regularly work with refrigeration and automation designers to ensure the overall solution is complimentary and economical while meeting all client and regulatory requirements including vibration, fatigue, embodied energy, and whole life costing.
Automation has become a greater part of the operational solutions being adopted by our clients and we have extensive experience with the provision of ‘dot-com’ or similar automated facilities for multiple blue-chip clients.
We have spent many years repurposing old facilities to bring them into line with new regulations, new processes and in many cases new industries. This has included utilisation studies of existing facilities to assess opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
