The base build of the hotel was originally designed by EirEng Director Terry Sheehan in the 1990’s. In 2017, EirEng returned to the building, delivering a new two-storey vertical extension and a full height west wing side extension. This created 85 new bedrooms for the hotel and facilitated new air conditioning to all bedrooms throughout.
