Bath Abbey Engineering Tour

Several of our Bath team members took the opportunity to join the istructe tuesday group on their walking tour of the newly refurbished Bath Abbey.

As well as the history lesson, it was great to finally see the innovative opening up works of the vaults to connect the abbey to the support spaces in adjacent buildings. Amazing work also to create a new heating system for the abbey, using natural hot spring water from the old roman baths sewer outlet, passing through a series of heat exchangers.
