3 new retail units including service yard and new car parking. Units needed to take on board the requirements of tenants such as M&S while also ensuring flexibility into the future for the Landlord. The site was located between existing and live retail sections of the shopping centre and so careful co-ordination was required. This was particularly important in the diversion and maintenance of services on the site as they had been added organically by a previous consulting engineer and were not properly futureproofed.
