Ocado Zoom Leyton

The works included minor alterations to an existing warehouse structure as well as fit-out works for an automated, temperature-controlled e-commerce facility. It also involved minor civil works in the external yard.

EirEng designed the fit-out design consisted of steel framed mezzanines in Ambient and Chilled chambers, over two levels with a mix of GRP mesh and lightweight timber floors. The mezzanines were designed to meet the Ocado’s strict performance and deflection criteria for their automated storage system.

The other works that EirEng designed included minimal kerb adjustments and new M&E plinths to the external yard.
