The Albany

This project involved the construction of a large two storey architect designed dwelling overlooking Dublin Bay in Monkstown. The house is a concrete framed building clad in Wicklow granite with spectacular cantilevering balconies wrapping around the building and a largely glazed façade. There are two feature staircases in the new dwelling including a large stone stair case and cantilevering external scissor stairs.

Our role on the project involved the full detailed design for both the civil and structural elements of the new structure. The project demonstrates EirEng’ s ability to develop creative workable solutions for challenging architectural concepts to be delivered.
